Why come to Safe Haven?

There are many reasons but one I want to highlight here; I will not judge you. I see myself as a fellow fallible human being. I will tell you the truth as I see it but in a manner that is designed to help you achieve greater fulfillment, not tear you down.


Park on North Street at the side of the building or back of the building. Enter in the SECOND side entrance- there is a small porch there. Youíll enter a waiting area. Stay there and Iíll come down to meet you. There is a conference room straight ahead when you walk in- you can wait there as well if it is empty and you want a bit more privacy. There are restrooms at the end of the hallways on the bottom floor.


Generally, Mondays through Fridays by appointment, Saturday morning and early afternoon. I offer flexible hours and will work with you to find a time.


I charge $90 for a 50 minute session. I do offer a sliding scale and a flexible appointment schedule. I want counseling to be affordable for you. Please know that I also need to balance my fees so I am offering good services for the price I need to set.


I currently accept Aetna, Medical Mutual, MHN, Tricare, CareSource(Just for Me), United Behavioral Health (United Healthcare), Humana, Ohio Health and am working towards being added to other insurance panels. I can give you a super bill and be an out of network provider for other insurance carriers as well.

Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment

If you could download and complete the Client Information Form and the Informed Consent Form from the Forms section of this website that would help your first appointment be more productive.
